There is just something so sweet and classic about this Riverside newborn photography session. Baby Alyciel was absolutely adorable and I love these images from our time together!
If you follow me on Instagram or have scrolled through my blog posts to check out my style, you know I’m all about neutral colors and timeless styles. Not that I’m opposed to bright, fun colors—I love them too—but I tend to gravitate towards a softer palette. The whites, creams, pale pinks, and peaches that we used for this baby girl’s newborn pictures are exactly the type of style I love. We also used lots of lace, flowers, and pretty textures since we wanted these baby pictures to have a feminine feel.
I always like to make my Riverside newborn photography sessions unique to my clients. In this case, Dad is in the military, so we decide to incorporate his uniform into some of our shots. It’s always an honor to serve first responders and their families!
Baby girl was such a sweetheart, and it was wonderful that both mom and dad were able to join in our pictures. We got some beautiful mother-baby and daddy-daughter images.
While I love everything about newborn sessions, one of my favorite parts of any session actually happens after the shoot. The ordering appointment, where clients finally get to see their finished images and choose their artwork, is always so special! I love watching clients’ faces as they see their beautiful photos for the first time, and it’s always fun for me to see which images clients select and how they choose to display them. These parents ordered a signature album with their images—a beautiful choice!
