As a Moreno Valley, CA maternity photographer servicing the Inland Empire, staying at the top of my game for my clients is so important to me! I want my clients to come to me for timeless and beautiful maternity portraits that they will love just as much in twenty years as they do today. In order to continue to elevate my skill sets, continued education is something I consider a must. Last week I attended an in-person workshop with Claudia Aguilar of Captured by Caludia. She is an expert in the field of studio maternity portraits and I was so excited to learn from her!
High Key Lighting was one style she taught us that I was not currently offering, but totally fell in love with. Not only was the lighting beautiful for maternity photoshoots, Claudia is also an expert at high fashion maternity styling. Aren't these outfits so fun? These were a little out of my comfort zone, but after trying and falling in love, I will definitely be adding some of these pieces as staples in my maternity client closet for my Moreno Valley photography studio.
These two images are also the result of two new lighting styles I can't wait to try during my Inland Empire studio maternity photoshoots. Both are a little more dramatic than my typical lighting, so I look forward to incorporating these styles into my sessions along with the classic lighting as well. These new styles will give great variety to client maternity galleries.
Claudia also taught us how to have fun with gels! Creating a variety of looks with adding gels is a fun way to spice up your maternity session. I can't wait to practice these styles in my Moreno Valley portrait studio during my upcoming maternity sessions!
